Follow my leader!

Glider on tow over Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight; this shot was taken from Culver Down and the glider and tow-plane have just taken off from Bembridge Airport. If you ever get the opportunity to glide, take it, its one of the most memorable experiences. I was lucky enough to be trained when I was an air cadet...many, many, moons ago!

I absolutely love this picture, it's so atmospheric and is exactly right in b&w. It's getting harder to pick a favourite on this site.

The perspective and lightning is great! The vast, luminous sky - and some tiny, yet identifiable spots somewhere nearly lost in the clouds. A calm atmosphere, with a hint of "beware if clouds decide to break free..."
